Synopsis

『Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet: Far Beyond the Voyage Part 1』
About six months have passed since Ledo’s heartbreaking farewell to Chamber, the machine he considered an extension of himself. Aboard the seafaring fleet Gargantia, Ledo has begun a new chapter in life alongside his companions. While working diligently as a member of a salvage team, he spends his days searching for traces of the lost civilization of Old Earth.
One day, a young girl named Rema, who has arrived from the fleet once led by his former commander Kugel, appears before him. Through his encounter with Rema, who is training under Amy as a messenger, Ledo is forced to confront the turbulent memories of his past and reexamine the person he has become in the present.
Yet even greater hardships and dangers await him in the future. Carrying the bond he shared with Chamber deep within his heart, Ledo moves forward as a young man, ready to face whatever challenges the sky and the sea may bring.

『Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet: Far Beyond the Voyage Part 2』
Having successfully salvaged a sunken vessel, Gargantia acquires a wealth of valuable resources. As repairs to the fleet begin, a storage device containing records from the old civilization is discovered. Among the data are records of combat machines that would later become the ancestors of the Machine Calibers. The revelation that humanity continued to wage war even in the face of extinction casts a shadow over Ledo's heart.
Meanwhile, Gargantia, which has undergone continual expansion and refurbishment, faces growing shortages of supplies, while the fatigue of its people reaches a breaking point. Seeking a solution, Ridget decides to make port at Ryugu City, a major maritime trade hub. Functioning as both a commercial center and a recreational retreat, Ryugu City gives the fleet's residents an opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves.
However, the peace is short-lived. Rema finally reveals her true purpose and confronts Ledo and Amy with a choice that will shape their future.
