Global Anime Challenge: Work in Progress — First Look
Part 1: Pilot Films
Part 2: Documentary & Talks

Overview

Supported by the government’s Japan Creator Support Fund, the Global Anime Challenge (GAC) is a program that nurtures the next generation of anime creators aiming for the global market. In this event, eleven GAC participants will publicly unveil their latest anime projects for the first time, presented as works in progress.

Part 1 is a fast-paced showcase of projects at different stages of development, featuring pilot film screenings and slide-based pitches, with each project introduced by its creator. Part 2 opens with a documentary about the GAC program, followed by talk sessions in which the creators discuss the stories behind their projects, their visual styles, and the challenges of turning an idea into moving images.

Come and witness the “now” of anime as these creators take on the world.
