Introduction
Eight months have passed since the clash of overwhelming powers triggered another Uprising Phenomenon in the Lost Ground. The whereabouts of Kazuma and Ryuho, who were swallowed by the light, remain unknown. Seeking to exploit their powers to reach the “Other Side,” Mujo Kyosuke descends upon the Lost Ground with his subordinate, Taisuke Yota, and an army of artificially created Alter users.
Kazuma, having lost his reason to fight, has become an empty shell wandering the wastelands, while Ryuho, stricken with amnesia, encounters Kanami after taking refuge in a settlement. Meanwhile, ahead of Mujo, Martin Zigmarl seeks to seize the power of the Other Side for himself and dispatches HOLY operatives to confront Ryuho.
For the burdens they bear, to settle accounts with their past, and to resist the ambitions that threaten to engulf the desolate land, Kazuma and Ryuho each step forward into their destined battles!
