Director:David Súkup
David Súkup is a Czech director, whose Light (2001) and The Mechanics (2003) were selected at the Cinéfondation in Cannes. In 2011 he created the stop-motion story Reason and Luck for the Fimfárum Third Time Lucky feature animated film.
Director:Patrik Pašš
Patrik, born in 1974 in Bratislava, holds a master’s from Prague’s FAMU in animated film directing, and a PhD in animation from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He is a director, screenwriter, animator, and illustrator, known for numerous animated short films and over 20 animated music videos. He authored Slovakia’s first graphic novel, Three. Not four, not five, and co-directed successful films including The Last Bus, which won the Stuttgart 2012 Grand Prix.
Director:Leon Vidmar
Leon Vidmar is a film director and animator. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana with the short animated film, (In)tolerance (2010) that premiered at Animateka. His professional debut, the animated short Farewell (2016), was screened at over 80 film festivals, including the Annecy International Festival and won seven awards. As an animator, he collaborates with established artists such as Špela Čadež, Ana Nedeljković, Nikola Majdak Jr., and Ahmad Saleh. He has a short film Dust Catchers in production.
Director:Jean-Claude Rozec
Jean-Claude Rozec began exploring animation at Université Rennes 2 through workshops.
He self-produced early films, then worked as a storyboard artist and animator for TV series.
Since 2009, he directed four award-winning shorts, including the Oscar shortlisted Cul de bouteille and La Maison de poussière, both produced by Vivement Lundi !. His latest short, Tétard, won the FIPRESCI Award at Annecy Animation Film Festival 2019. Recently, he worked as lead animator on the French animated series Idefix.
