This is the splendid and tumultuous daily drama of their only son and the 999th head of the family - Chama, also known as “Obocchama-kun."

He made his debut as an animation director in 1975 with “Manga Fairy Tales of the World” and directed his first series with “Tsurupika Hagemaru.” Since then, he has directed numerous works, including “Obocchama-kun,” “Manmaru the Ninja Penguin,” “Atashin'chi,” and “Zenmai Zamurai.”
Director:Sidheswar Shukla
An Indian animation director with over 20 years of experience in kids’ animation. He currently serves as Creative Director at Green Gold Animation, overseeing the artistic vision and production strategy of both new and existing works while leading the creative team. He previously spent eight years at the same studio as an animation director, contributing to the creation of major IPs and improving production pipelines. He is highly regarded for his ability to balance strong storytelling with visual expression, creating engaging content for young audiences, and for his leadership in team management.

Maiko Sumida Member of the International Business Development Department at TV Asahi. 12 years of experience in international business. She currently serves as Anime Chief, working on the overseas development and expansion of kids & family animation content such as “Doraemon” and “Crayon Shin-chan.” She is also the international co-production producer for the 2025 Indian adaptation of “Obocchama-kun.” Takanori Okano – Producer He joined Shin-Ei Animation in 2009. He worked on “Doraemon” as a production coordinator. He later participated in the Indian adaptation of “Ninja Hattori-kun.” Since then, he has produced multiple works using cutout animation techniques in collaboration with overseas studios.
