Introduction
Victorian-era London. The lonely explorer Lord Lionel sets out for the Pacific Northwest in search of a legendary creature. There, he discovers a massive, fully furry, slightly clumsy living fossil who can speak human language!
Longing for companionship, the creature—named Mr. Link—and the ambitious Lionel embark together on a journey to the legendary valley of Shangri-La, located on the other side of the world.

Born in 1974 in Liverpool, England, he has worked on the design and storyboarding of numerous acclaimed animated films, including Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (2005). He served as Story Supervisor on Coraline (2009), co-writer and co-director on ParaNorman (2012), and Head of Story and co-writer on Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). For this film, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature and was also nominated for an Academy Award®.
