Introduction
Six months have passed since Taichi and the others returned from their adventure in the Digital World. Life has been unbelievably peaceful...until one day, a mysterious egg appears on the Internet. It quickly evolves into a vicious Digimon, spreading chaos across the world through the network!

Born in Toyama in 1967, he joined Toei Doga (now Toei Animation) in 1991 and made his debut as a film director in 1999 with 'Digimon Adventure the Movie'. Later, as a freelance director, he released The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) and Summer Wars (2009). In 2011, he set up his own animation film production company, Studio Chizu, and directed, wrote the script and wrote the original story for both Wolf Children (12) and The Boy And The Beast (2015). Mirai (2018) (director, screenplay and original story) was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 91st Academy Awards. BELLE (2021) (director, screenplay and original story) was selected for the Cannes Première section at the 74th Cannes International Film Festival.
