Comment from Artistic Director Tadashi Sudo

“For the first-ever ANIAFF feature competition, I was truly astonished and moved by the number and quality of submissions we received.
After much deliberation, we selected 11 official competition titles representing nine countries.
These films, ranging from hand-drawn to CG to stop-motion, challenge conventional definitions of animation and explore distinctive forms of visual expression.
Their compelling dramas, social reflections, and creative energy will undoubtedly lead the world’s animation scene in 2025.
At ANIAFF, audiences will be able to experience the cutting edge of global animation all in one place.”
